As an ongoing project, unconventional methods of ornamentation are reorientated by designating functionality as a means of embellishment. Utilitarian roles become obsolete in the assembly process, as specification-led applications inherit human intuition.

Manually assembled from SS316L (Surgical Stainless Steel) & C46400 (Naval Brass) industrial nuts, alongside reclaimed materials of industry such as 7075-T6 anodised aluminium chainrings. Here, 𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 whilst UNS S31603 (Marine-grade 316L Stainless Steel) hinges 𝗽𝗶𝘃𝗼𝘁 to perform. SS316L cable ties 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 the assembly 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
